Finally got around to seeing "The King's Speech." Holy shitballs, that was good. Also, my redbox double feature was "Horrible Bosses." Solid. Didn't think I was going to laugh as much as I did, plus you gotta like a movie with a character named Motherfucker Jones.

Harrison Ford will portray Branch Rickey in the upcoming Jackie Robinson biopix.

My wife saw it and keeps wanting me to; it's probably the most talked-about movie on the indy circuit at the moment.

Despite lots of Kirsten Dunst nudity, still not sure I'm interested in it.

    "The Change-Up" --

Had no real expectations for this movie, but I laughed my ass off during the first 90 minutes. Bateman and Reynolds (especially Bateman) were fantastic. The banter was beautiful.

    Favorite exchange:

Olivia Wilde (legal assistant): I'll have my briefs on your desk by noon.
Bateman: That should put my balls on your chin by dinner.

How could you not love that??

    "Horrible Bosses."

The group-of-guys-getting-in-crazy-situations genre is about played out at this point, but I did crack up out loud at, "You know that movie 'Snow Falling on Cedars'?"

Maybe I should turn in my man card, but that sounds tired and crass to me.

Sorry, I stopped reading after Jason Bateman said "my balls."

I laughed so much at that film.

The line where Aniston talks about breaking a fingernail killed me.

Damnit, Dooley, it was funny. Plus, you had to put the line in context. The character uttering that particular statement would NEVER normally say something so horrifying.

It would be like Dick Whitman suddenly writing that in response to a post from 21.
