I will never find it difficult to watch Mila Kunis do anything.

I think of Mulligan as a younger Kate Winslet. I get the sense she's drawn more to those type of roles than the rom-com stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, Wall Street II: Electric Boogaloo is the only big budget film she's been in. I don't know if she's avoided the big money stuff or hasn't been offered those roles until recently.

She's in The Great Gatsby with DiCaprio, so her days as being relatively unknown are just about done.

"An Education" and "Never Let Me Go."

And "Public Enemies" a while back.

Oh, I think she's stunning. I started a thread on it after her GQ appearance.

But she's woodwork as an actress, at least compared to someone like Mulligan or a true heavyweight.

I forgot she was in Public Enemies, a movie I was colossally disappointed by...

I certainly wouldn't put Kunis on a par with a true heavyweight, but I don't think of her as being wooden at all. Now, Mark Wahlberg or Hayden Christensen, THOSE guys are wooden, like they're reading their lines off cue cards. But I think her screen presence is very natural. The caveat to that is I think she's always Mila Kunis on screen. I'm not sure how much range or depth she has.

Her character Jackie from "That 70's Show" was about as different from her movie roles as possible, but since transitioning to film, I think she's basically played herself. It just so happens I love that persona. :)

I'm guessing she'll get a couple more easygoing roles that will make her some real money before she ventures into taking on a difficult, risky role. Hopefully, that role will more than body-double nudity. :D

I watched The Debt night before last and thoroughly enjoyed it. Something about the lengthy flashback storytelling device that I always like.

    You and the world.

And it could have been great.

Exactly. If you want to see a Michael Mann cops and robbers saga, just watch Heat.

I love that movie, and she does what is asked of her. But she's Tim Tebow - a game manager. Natalie Portman is an awful, awful actress. Watch "The Other Woman" and "No Strings Attached" if you need proof. She's unbelievably bad.

    The Professional
    Beautiful Girls
    Closer
    Garden State
    Black Swan
    Heat

She's tremendous in all of those... V for Vendetta wasn't bad. It's not her fault the Star Wars prequels all suck ass.

She's a very good actress. I think based on some of the roles she's taken, she's ready to get paid big $$$ and there's nothing wrong with that.

I remember telling somebody that summer, "If you had told me that I would hate Christian Bale as John Conner and Johnny Depp as John Dillinger, I'd have told you you were insane..."
