2012 will be a great year for comic lovers with The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man (still didn't think a complete reboot was necessary) and TDKR

No way. The protesters in the Batman movie appear to actually get something accomplished.

As I noted a few pages up, this sleeper movie is a must-see. Very enjoyable.

My wife picked up "Edward Scissorshands" in the bargain DVD bin. First time I'd seen it since it came out about 20 (!) years ago.

The movie holds up great -- now that I'm older, the dad character is hilarious.

And Winona Ryder ... wow! Now I remember why every guy who grew up in the early 1990s was infatuated with her.

That's because it wasn't, especially not with Andrew Garfield playing Peter Parker.

Tried to watch "For Love of the Game" on HBO just now, only because I had just finished re-reading the book again. I've lost track of how many times I read it.

Never been more disappointed in a movie than I was in that one when it first came out. Looks even worse now.

Trailer looks awesome. I'm not geeky over the LOTR series in that I've never read the books, nor have I ever tried to learn Elvish, but I really enjoyed the original trilogy. I'm definitely looking forward to the prologue.

Thank God! No more crying sessions with lit candles in my bath tub!
