Last movie you watched......

  1. Hanna..

Not what I thought.. I expected an action movie and it wasn't ... It was 1:51 without a lot of action.
Not bad, but nothing memorable, either.

One of the best movies no one talked about in 2011! (IMHO)

If I ruled the world, I would have shaved a lot of the extraneous characters and subplots away and really highlighted the relationship between Charles and Erik. I wasn't invested enough in that by the climax.

Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Tremendous film, never a dull moment.

The new Mission Impossible. Seemed like a lot of convoluted plot that I was too tired to keep up with, but the stunts and gadgets were cool and that's all I really expected from a Mission Impossible movie, so I was satisfied.

  7. Anyone see Dragon Tattoo yet?

Probably a whole bunch of people who are posting on the thread devoted to it. :p

Minority Report. I have never seen the whole thing until last night. Not bad at all.

  10. Yeah, just saw that right after I posted. I'm an idiot.

No worries, I just said the Cavs were the best team in the NBA on the NBA thread instead of the Heat, so what the hell do I know. :D

I'd like to chat about it in that post (I saw it last night), but now they're talking about social anxiety and Asperger's and stuff. I think posting about the movie, at that point, in its own thread, would be out of place. Ha. So, anyway... I saw it last night and liked it. Fincher is a great director and the Reznor/Ross score was just fantastic. Not once did I think about the time despite it being nearly a 200-minute-movie. I've never read the Millennium Series nor seen the Swedish movies.
