Damnit, I wasn't going to watch this movie until you mentioned this.

Weird. I watched the same airing. Hadn't ever seen it and figured it was time.
Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The hardest part to endure was the commercials for "Portlandia" that came on every five minutes. I can see why it launched the "torture porn" movement in horror, but as is often the case some of the movies that followed in its footsteps were much more gratutitous.

First half hour. That's all you really need.

    "Qualifications?"
    "Rape, murder, arson and rape."
    "You said rape twice."
    "I like rape."

Crazy, Stupid, Love - Good film, but the extreme convergence of the plots almost wrecked it. Could have been a great one with some tweaks.

Thank God for the mid-70s and the reign of the wholly-politically-incorrect comedy.

I saw the film at 10:30 on a Tuesday night, so there were about 10 people in the theater, give or take. People were chuckling when she was messing with the fat guy. I was thinking, Should I be laughing at this or not? Payback is a bitch, I guess.

It's been characterized by at least one critic as a "feminist/revenge picture", pure and simple.

    I can't argue with that.

The Fright Night remake was pretty entertaining with a cool performance by David Tennant as a cheesy Vegas magician.
