For the sake of the many good posters on this board, I will stop this. But, Dick, blocking my PMs will not protect you. You will hear what I have to say.

Sorry about the turn of this thread, good people. It was not my intention to start this nonsense.

Dick, your "olive branch" story is nonsense. You could have extended the peace offering during our PM exchange, but you did not. Either you are not man enough to have this conversation in private, or you are a coward who cannot stand by his statements.

Just stop deleting all your posts and be accountable for the stuff you write. It's such chickenshit behavior to run and hide after your offensive outbursts.

We can just put each other on ignore now.

"Salt." I take it the idea was to kick-start a Bourne-like franchise with A. Jolie. It was OK.

Stumbled upon Sofia Coppola's 'Somewhere' last night on HBO. It's a slow boiler, but I loved it. I understand how people may be bored to tears watching her films, but this and 'Lost in Translation' I could watch time and again. There's a scene with Stephen Dorff (yeah .. Stephen Dorff) bawling his eyes out that's every bit as moving as the end of 'Lost in Translation.' And Elle Fanning ... oh man, she's gonna be a superstar one day. Great actress.

Debating between Contraband, Mission Impossible and the Dragon Tattoo for this weekend. The Devil Inside was up for grabs, too, but I saw it's getting like 7 percent on RT. I typically dismiss movie critics, but I've found the RT percentages to be pretty spot on as far as what I end up liking and disliking.

Watched The Hangover Part II last night. I think it's fair to say they dropped a deuce when this one was released.

I thought I would enjoy it even though it was going to basically be the same movie, because I loved the first one. But it just wasn't as funny. I'm not sure I could tell you a single one-liner from the movie a day later.

It had a couple of funny moments, but overall I wanted to like it a lot more than I actually did.

For it being their first film, Mike Cahill and Brit Marling did a fine job. It's not spectacular, but the concept is cool and a lot of the shots were neat (some were kind of annoying, though). Anyway, despite that obviousness of that impending ending, I still didn't see it coming. It was really cool.

Has anybody else been trying to get "The Help" from Netflix? I've had, "Very Long Wait" on my queue for weeks, it seems. It's getting pretty annoying. I mean, order enough copies.

Melancholia - I'd like to give the filmmaker credit for the artistic vision, but Jesus Christ was this boring.

I make this sugggestion occasionally, and will, again . . . try your local library. You may be amazed.

That being a new release, you'd probably be able to find it pretty easily at a Red Box.

It's the principle of the thing.

    I shouldn't have to.
