No, I'm not. I promise. I almost erased the post, because I thought someone would probably think that. But I now know that deleting posts is a board no-no.

I was simply making a joke about how you were on a role. The joke bombed. My apologies, for real. I'll keep the attempts at humor to myself from here on out.

Wife and I walked out of "Haywire" after an hour.

Dreadful. Slow and slow kills any chance of trying to follow the story. I see critics love it...but it's under 50% by "the people" on RottenTomatoes.

Just watched Easy A. Silly but entertaining. My favorite line: ...because if there's anything worse than Chlamydia, it's Florida.

One for the Money. Enjoyable. Read the book so long ago. Can't recall if the movie is true to the book. My daughter and I used to play cast the series. They did a pretty good job with it.

    Enjoyed it.

Anyone who compared it to ET made a pretty big leap. It's comparable to ET in that it's about an alien that wants to go home. That's it.

I had lowered expectations going in so I thought it was good way to spend two hours.

It has surprised critics with good word-of-mouth over the past 24 hours.

Thank god. Because I was PETRIFIED of this movie. I'm going tonight, I think. I love Evanovich. But I REALLY hate Heigl in the role of Stephanie, and I hate the Morelli casting too.

I'm glad to hear it's getting good word-of-mouth.

Heigl was a grand choice for Stephanie, we thought. You would have picked??

    Anyone else on earth?

They had floated Bullock, but the contract didn't work out. I think 10 years ago, Bullock's perfect. But she's too old now.

A brunette Emma Stone would have worked. She has the physical comedy to do it. I can see her doing it, but she's too young. Depends on how much they could age her.

Sarah Michelle Gellar could have done it. Shannon Elizabeth. Hell, Isla Fisher.

Late add: Jennifer Carpenter from Dexter.

But do any of those girls "open" a movie? I don't know. I guess they needed star power SOMEWHERE in the movie ... but Heigl plays Heigl in every movie. And I don't see her (again haven't seen the movie) as the forever frustrated, somewhat unkempt Stephanie.

I'll definitely weigh in. I bought a Groupon for the movie ($6 for a ticket, which is a pretty good savings, sad to say) and planned to go yesterday but stuff came up. I know the feeling among my friends on FB was definite dread, including one who loves the books but refused to go to the movie.
