I think we're going to see it Sunday night. My wife is addicted to the books, so much so that we went to an Evanovich book-signing a few years ago only to find about a 2-hour wait.
I've read most of the books. I always liked Heigl but was surprised she was picked for this role. My wife was certain Bullock was going to get it, but then, I think, Bullock got too famous very quickly.
I hope my wife isn't disappointed that Ranger isn't Tony Gonzalez.

Oh, the Hornet was so bad. Almost as bad as Pineapple Express.

And the guy whose name was on the poster...
And it was set in the late 1970s/early 1980s...
And they had chase scenes with kids on bikes...

I felt it should have been much better than it was.

A movie I had very low expectations for because it is the type that everyone I know loves and I end up hating, very much like The Blindside. And it lived up to those expectations. So campy, yet wanting to be more than a campy sports movie. I refused to be fooled by another sports genre movie.

He was the one I would have had the hardest time casting. Cuban, but lithe, muscular, but flexible, guarded, but warm.

I actually think Sunjata might be able to pull it off. Other than that, I've got Dwayne Johnson. :D

Sounds like you just want to look at Dwayne Johnson. At least you've got Journey 2 and G.I.Joe: Retaliation coming up for those purposes.

Really good for what it is. And boy are they right about everyone forgetting what you did if you didn't win the last game of the series. I'm not that big of a baseball fan (or at least I wasn't back then), but I can't believe I forgot that the A's won 20 in a row that year.

Not really. I can look at him whenever I want to. But I can hear him saying "babe" how Ranger says it in my head.

Man On A Ledge - damn, we had a blast. Enjoyed it as much as I have any movie in ages. Kept me on the edge of my seat and all that. And I have a new love interest. The brother's girlfriend? Oh MY. OH MY. OH MY OH MY. The scene in her underwear about sent me to the great beyond.

    Is this her?

I mean, I haven't seen the flick. But of the headshots on IMDB, she appeared most likely to "take you there."

How did you do the shift for the last "yes" with one hand?
