Last movie you watched......

Oh, yeah. Three hours plus. It's an endurance test.

 

And one of the most (visually) beautiful movies of its era.

 

Saw Looper last night and really enjoyed it. Had an Inception feel to it for me. There was some really cool stuff and I was fascinated with the makeup/cgi they did with JGL.

Watched People Like Us earlier in the week and found it pretty enjoyable too. Nice redemption story.

 

I think Culkin just did the Home Alone scream when someone emailed him this article.

 

"Trouble With the Curve." A Clint Eastwood chick flick. Not what I expected.

The lead actress -- Amy someone -- mailed it in. The other scout guy (Justin Timberlake?) was annoying and John Goodman needed to re-think the mustache. Clint Eastwood was cranky, as usual.

They worked *way* to hard to make the prospect a jerk. Almost Disney hard.

 

KJIM, I had a lot of problems with that movie, which from the baseball side didn't ring authentic. It was Bull Durham for scouts, and it just wasn't well executed.

 

Just watched The Trip.

You know that IE stars on the BBC America show, Luther, right?

 

I know the reviews have been less than kind, but I saw Butter and thought it was pretty funny...

 

I've pimped Luther out on FB multiple times and possibly on here as well. I LOVE it.
