Last movie you watched......

Anyone up for "Argo"? I don't know when I'll see it, but it's on my list.

 

Going to see Seven Psychopaths on Saturday and I can't wait. Martin McDonagh can do no wrong for me.

 

Definitely. Ben Affleck is stunningly competent as a director. I loved both "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town."

 

Finally saw "The Dark Knight Rises" yesterday -- wanted to catch it in the dollar theater before it goes to home video.

Good, but a step down from TDK.

Wraps up Nolan's Batman saga in an appropriately ambiguous way.

 

I'm still trying to get my mind around the idea that somebody, even Bubbler, is sitting at home watching 'The Trip.'

For the record, I saw it multiple times when I was a young man and an enthusiastic user of recreational hallucinogens.
And even I knew it was a bad movie, although it is admittedly bad in the so-bad-it's-good kind of way.

 

Exactly. Why else would I be watching Epix Drive-In? The channel is devoted to so-bad-it's-good movies.

 

My first choice for a movie this afternoon was Seven Psychopaths, but it wasn't at my neighborhood non-chain theater and Argo was so I went with Argo.

Excellent movie.

 

Went to Argo yesterday. Excellent movie and very suspenseful, even if you know how it ends. Lots of great actors in there.

 

Hot Tub Time Machine.

Goddammit. I wish that movie were real. GodDAMMIT.

No. I'm wishing Elway's pass had fallen incomplete.

 

Somehow BYH has never seen it, or at least he hadn't last time we had a conversation about it.
