As well he should. I think this would be his firm nom since "Good Will Hunting."

Loved Argo. It's an entertaining flick but more than anything I felt like I was watching something that I hadn't quite seen before, at least not done quite that way. Which isn't something I've felt like I could say about a movie in a long time.

Went to see Flight last night, very heavy handed and obvious, great movie for those who hate nuance and enjoy being bludgeoned with cliche.

I saw "Flight" today. I was entertained, and reminded why I hate flying anymore.

The jackscrew cause was taken from the Alaska Airlines flight that crashed into the ocean off SoCal about 10 years ago, en route to Seattle from Mexico. The stories of the passengers in the Times and P-I were truly heartbreaking.

Elektra Luxx. On a whole it's not great, but there are a handful of solid scenes, and Carla Gugino is excellent. Not sure what to think of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He was funny at times as the Latino blogger in mom's basement, but it also seems like they could have found a Latino to play the role. A little too Lifetime'esque at the end. But still worth a watch.

  6. I saw Flight today as well. It was OK, I guess. I thought Denzel was pretty good but it was actually pretty depressing and contrived.

Should've seen Argo again instead or Wreck It Ralph.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Reasonably enjoyable and pretty sweet. Not much different from most of Carell's other roles, though.

If you grew up going to arcades, you will enjoy the heck out of Wreck It Ralph. I can't believe how much I liked it.

Flash Gordon was on MoviePlex today.

    It still rules.

It is definitely the animated movie geared towards males in their 30s and 40s

Did they include Steve Perry shooting down invaders with his microphone from the Journey videogame?

I grew up going to arcades. I was 10 years old in 1980.
However, since I am now 42, I have no interest in seeing 'Wreck-It Ralph.'

I will say, however, that Reilly was hysterical on 'Conan.'
