I agree with him that Tarantino should make the movie he wants to make provided he can get the money to make and believes there's an audience for it.

Calling Lee a 'house negro' seems pretty harsh.

Saying that forced slave fighting is analagous to modern boxing isn't true.

Saying that a black boss in a corporattion treats black employees worse than any white boss every could is inflamatory on two fronts.

 

Just got back from Silver Linings Playbook. Outstanding. I really enjoyed it. Well paced, well written but especially well acted all the way around. Shame for Bradley Cooper to get caught against the DDL freight train this year because he was really good.

I'd move it to third on my list of favorite movies this year.

 

It had its moments. But I found it underwhelming. I wanted to like it more than I did, but it had some entertaining moments. I have definitely seen worse.

 

A movie in which we see Jeff Bridges bowling. It also features Sam Elliott.

I will be pleasantly surprised if someone can correctly identify this movie.
