The Pastor's Wife on LMT. Taped it because I was in Tennessee about the time this Church of Christ preacher's wife killed her husband. Got off with manslaughter and served like six days in prison through a mental facility. Now has custody of her kids. Seemed as if the jury bought all the physical and mental abuse stories that no one knew about until the trial because being a C of C pastor's wife, she was expected to play the role.

Fantastic movie. I watched "From Russia With Love" today. One of the best of the old-school Bond movies. I like it because it's a simple spy caper, rather than Bond saves the world. And Tatiana ... I'd defect for that!

Argo, even though it wasn't totally accurate.

The Man With the Golden Gun on demand over the weekend. I remember it being highly entertaining when I saw it in the theatre, but then, I was like 10 years old. It hasn't held up particularly well, though Britt Ecklund is quite fetching.

Zero Dark Thirty last night. I liked it, but I wasn't blown away like I was watching Hurt Locker.

    Ted.

I laughed quite a bit and liked the references to Family Guy.

Zero Dark Thirty - At least an hour too long. I guess the final assault on Bin Laden's compound was all right, but man stretches of this were boring.

So I fit in Bachelorette too. Mainly watched because Lizzy Caplan and Adam Scott from Party Down had primary roles. I'm glad I did. This walks all over Bridesmaids. It's savage cringe humor with more of the focus on the cringe. Not a rom-com in the least, but it does have some genuine heartfelt moments (reminds me a lot of the Office UK in a sense).
