Sometimes, HDNet Movies in a hotel room on a road trip is not your friend.

I watched High Crimes ... a Morgan Freeman-Ashley Judd military thriller from about 10 years ago. Terrible.

Az, I'll check out that link.

Oh my God. Lincoln. Did anyone else find it fucking horrible?

I have a FYC copy a friend loaned me. I fell asleep 45 minutes in.

Look, poli sci major right here! C-Span's my favorite channel! When all the shit went down with Obamacare, I sat in front of the TV for hours with popcorn on the edge of my couch. Lincoln is my favorite president, by far!!

This thing is so boring. The dialogue is 1800s one minute, 1990s the next. Same with DDL's accent/speech patterns-- weird affect in one scene, normal American accent the next.

What the frickin' frick, people? Do I have to finish this thing?!

Argo. Dug it. They showed the clip of that Mike Wallace interview and I remembered watching it live. I don't remember the story of these six. Based on what Luggie writes, glad I chose this over Lincoln.

Affleck tells Ebert: "Right now we're developing a script about Whitey Bulger, the legendary Boston gangster, that I would direct. Matt would act as Whitey and my brother Casey would play Billy, his brother."

Maybe you'll like Johnny Depp's version instead.

    "Ted."

Same issue I had with "Paul." Other than being a sight gag, there is nothing particularly non-human about the creature. It's just "What About Bob?" or that Owen Wilson movie like it, except with CGI.

  10. Yeah, I hate really good movies, too.

"ZDT." Pretty much agree with what's been said, especially about the length and Chastain. It wasn't engrossing until the very end and by that time, I just didn't care anymore.

"High Fidelity," which is one of those I need to watch about once a year.
