The previews look obvious, stilted and dreadful. I'll wait for others to lay down their money. I'm in no hurry.

In Harm's Way - John Wayne WWII classic never gets old.

 

My Monday was turning to shit before it even started (sick, sick kid, 5 hours of sleep combined between us).

So I watched Top Gun. It turned Monday awesome. Also turned me a little bit gay. Hot damn, Tom Cruise.

 

I love love love the scene where Kirk Douglas bitch-slaps Patrick O'Neal in the latrine.

 

Definitely an awesome scene.

 

I saw it in the theater and loathed every damned second of it.
