"Ted" came up in my Netflix queue.

So far, it's taken me three days to make it 30 minutes in. This is horrible.

Read a really good review that the trick of Tony not even needing to be in the suit was kind of a metaphor for the movie.
I'm sure Marvel will make a couple more billion off of the franchise, but after The Avengers (and that finale) I don't know if they'll be able to top themselves. The characters seem to have all made their "arcs" and are fully formed, yeah bigger and badder villians can be created, more spectacular effects crafted, but I don't know where they go to make me interested.

    "The Impossible."

Worth watching, but the movie runs out of steam towards the end, due in large part to its very Hollywood ending.

Marvel just needs to get back the all of the rights to Spidey - though this reboot isn't horrible, not sure if this installment will top Spidey 2 - and then there comes more billians because as it stands now, Iron Man is done. We're past the point of spoilers, but I sorta wish they went all in with the Mandarin.

Saw Star Trek Into Darkness tonight. Overall, I enjoyed it. I think the last one was better, but both are entertaining.

I know these are supposed to be the same people in different circumstances, but the nods to the original series and movies were a bit much. The end was a bit of a cheat, but they did go out of their way to establish why it would work.

    Mild Spoiler alert....

What the hell is with the Klingons looking different? Isn't this supposed to be the same reality, just with events going off in a different direction from the moment the Romulan ship arrived in its past? Why would that change the way Klingons look?

I think that ending sets up a realistic explanation if Iron Man doesn't take part in Avengers 2, but I'd be very surprised if it comes to that. I hope they don't replace Downey if he doesn't sign on for more movies. It was one thing to do it with Rhodey or even Bruce Banner. It's another to try to replace Downey in that role.

I rewatched The Lincoln Lawyer last night. One thing that stood out was the music in addition to Matthew McConaughey knocking it out of the park. Also, I don't think Marisa Tomei ages, she is so beautiful.

I'm kinda hoping they make The Brass Verdict into a film, but I'd rather see Michael Connelly's other hero, Harry Bosch, come to film.

Watched Act of Valor, Kind of jarring in a way. Like Red Tails, Act of Valor would have been a perfectly acceptable movie before Platoon came out, but now it just comes off as way to sanitized. Can't really fault the Seals for their acting. Though I was surprised that the "Senior Chief" was also a non-actor.

I really dreading seeing this after my wife got it from Netflix a long while back. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Boogie Nights is just wrapping up on FXM. I will watch this movie any time it's on.

Saw Hangover 3. Far better than the second one, but what isn't?

A couple funny scenes, most of which were in the trailer, but pretty mediocre as a whole.

I'm halfway through it now - I'm sure it would be a lot funnier if I was baked.
