I didn't like Benning in this one except she knocked it out of the park in the dinner table scene, when she goes to the bathroom and kind of freaks out.

Benning's character was a bitch for most of the picture. She played it well, though.

The people I know who have seen it loved the shit out of it.

Retro night: "Anchorman". Man that was fantastic. Never knew that Christina Applegate could look that good. Ferrell was made for this movie.

    Really?

I hate post-apocalyptic films (save for I Am Legend, which was very good) so I am probably a little biased, but the previews I've seen look like shit.

And I am tired of zombies, werewolves and vampires.

My wife has made it a family tradition to sit through the credits, just to see the names of all the folks who helped make the film.

Our son is sort of interested in moviemaking, so he's interested, too.

I'm beginning to wonder how much longer they're going to credit all the computer artists and technicians. The credits go on and on.

The folks cleaning the theater told us there would be no extra scene at the end, but we still sat there until the last name rolled.

As for the movie itself? The action sequences made me dizzy and I'm always irritated by failure to show the real consequences of the physics involved in that sort of violence.

Our son really wanted to see it and left there satisfied with the movie's plot and action, so it was a good Father's Day gift for me.

I've been hoping for one forever. It's not like there isn't source material to draw from — Patrick O'Brien wrote about 20 of those books.

I have no idea what else you could have expected from an R-rated comedy starring Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jay Baruchel. I mean, I really don't know how you could have not thought there'd be crude moments.

That being said, it was brilliant. Movie of the year thus far.

At some point, you expect people to grow up - at least just a little bit.

The movie was funny in parts, but I thought it was far short of Tropic Thunder, which I've seen it compared to.

Jonah Hill. How the hell did he get nominated for an Oscar? Awful.

I am 100 percent in the other direction.
I have no idea why anyone considers 'Tropic Thunder' funny.
'This is the End,' however, was funny. It wasn't great, but it was funny.

Saw "Now You See Me" the other day. Great, great movie.
