And it's a terrible movie, so you don't want to see it anyway.

Thin plot, characters that are so shallow and annoying that there's nothing to make you pull for them - good guys and bad guys.

I really had high hopes for it despite the word I'd heard, but the word was right. It was pretty awful.

I'm so tired of movies that give me no reason to like the main character(s). If I don't like them, I just don't care what happens to them.

    Agreed, it was not good.

Bad news, they're making a sequel.

I watched Blue Jasmine last weekend. I was expecting to love it, but I only liked it.

Picked up "Olympus Has Fallen" from the library. Oh, my. What a contrived, festering piece of shit. Strong cast... absolutely shit script.

Olympus Has Fallen was so awful. A sloppy Die Hard remake - complete with someone walking barefoot over broken glass - that just happens to take place in the White House.

... and they're making a sequel, according to imdb.com ("London Has Fallen"). Saw that when I just had to see what writers — termed used liberally — put their names to that shit.

Jack Reacher - Not as awful as I would have thought, but a very-male centered thought process throughout the movie. Please note the point where they really start showing off the female lead's tits. It's almost like a symbol(s) for her affection toward Jack.

Don't know why I love this movie, but I do. It's just a fun, little 90-minute adventure. Plot's not complicated, the stunts are fun to watch, the acting is okay. I really love Michael Shannon in this.

Give it a shot. It's not a bad way to zone out for a bit. Movies should still be fun, you know.

Did I write this? I didn't even make it to the end. I was Netflixing it and lost my connection. Didn't bother trying it again.

Sometimes I want to watch a movie where a lot of shit gets blown up. It delivered that.

But it's never going to debated in film study classes.

One Tarantino's better recent movies for sure. But waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long.
It could have EASILY been two hours and not missed a beat.

I get. He really likes 1970s movies.

Don Jon last night - pretty good movie. For a movie all about pornography and sex, there really wasn't as much nudity as I expected.

Also saw 'In a World'. I really liked it. Never heard of Lake Bell before, but she's pretty hot. And the movie is good, but for whatever reason I went into it thinking it was about the life of Don La Fontaine, and it is not at all. So it wasn't what I expected, but it was still good. Definitely recommend it.
