That seems to be everyone's reaction to this movie (myself included) - low expectations, surprisingly funny.

    Los Locos kick your ass!
    Los Locos kick your face!
    Los Locos kick your balls
    Into out-ter spaaaaace!

Yeah, anyway ... "Dallas Buyers Club." This movie, along with "True Detective," has changed my opinion on McConaughey from movie star to actor. There is a difference.

He was also great in both Killer Joe and Mud. Dude is on fire right now. I think he's got some sci-fi flick coming out later this year with Matt Damon.

    Killer Joe, not Joe Dirt.

Jesus, I cannot believe I did that. Thanks for the correction and it's fixed. Yes, Killer Joe, he was damn good in a movie that just messed up. Wow. Those people were off the deep end.

Call me a neanderthal but I saw "Natural Born Killers" for the first time last night.

From a pure cinematic standpoint, it is quite a piece of work. Otherwise, it's one of weirdest flicks I've ever seen.

The only movie I've ever walked out of.

Natural Born Killers is so bad. "Absolute dreck" is nail on head.

It's not as good as Toy Story, but 99.9 percent of all movies are not as good as Toy Story. That is setting the bar unreasonably high.

Lego Movie is very good, but it gets pretty deep at the end. You walk out as a parent thinking it might have been a downer for them, but both kindergarten girls I was with liked it a lot. Not as much as Frozen, but that is a high bar also.

Will Farrell was great in the part.

It is also fitting that Mark Mothersbaugh did the music for the film.

Two over the last few days:
Ender's Game: I couldn't remember much from the book when I read it who knows how long ago. I thought the actor who played Ender did a remarkable job. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. But would probably watch again.

The Armstrong Lie: I guess this documentary was more about Lance and his comeback at first until the Oprah interview and thus changed it to focus more about his lie. As an avid cyclist and fan of the tour and the general situation involving Lance, I enjoyed it. If you've read The Secret Race, you'll most likely enjoy this. Shit, I think anyone interested in the bike scene of the tour would be into it and how Lance held the lie for so long.
