Dark comedy at its best. I don't think there's a funnier ending to a movie than Stronglove's "I can walk!" declaration followed by the montage of explosions.

She's classically trained. Did it right. Went to school, was then on stage, didn't get cast in a movie until her early 20s. The outsized stuff she can sometimes do (in Dark Shadows, for example) is probably a product of the training, but I sure prefer it to the Kristen Stewart school of acting or the Mumblecore movement (the TV show Girls is part of it).

Green's not Marion Cotillard good -- few are at this point -- but she's up there.

I've long thought George C Scott stole the show with his six-point argument halfway through the movie.

It was alright...not enough to tell my wife to watch it if she has a spare moment. Just okay.
Kristen Wiig does nothing for me. They could have found a hotter "girl-next-door" to play that role.

American Hustle. Great cast, and Jennifer Lawrence is amazing to watch. Christian Bale good as always. Cool movie.

Just watched Gravity. Thought it was visually stunning and definitely suspenseful. Well worth the 90 minutes spent on it.

    Spoilers ...

I did think the rebirth thing was extremely cheesy. Not enough to ruin the movie, but I definitely didn't like it. Didn't need the fetus pose scene in the space station and having the movie end with her grabbing the dirt while laying down would have been fine. Still, entertaining flick.

Totally agree, Alma. Anytime this flick comes on, I'm drawn in. Tracey Reed was hot.

Head Games (2012 documentary) - Pretty good film on the concussion crisis, but damn frustrating. I wanted to yell at some of those kids who have had multiple concussions and tell them "THERE ARE OTHER COMPETITIVE SPORTS NOT INVOLVING HITS TO THE HEAD." The movie presents the idea that certain high impact sports are unsustainable, but suddenly backs off the intensity of the message in the last few minutes.

I saw Neighbors. I had huge expectations that were not met, but it's still pretty funny...
