I read an early review of Edge of Tomorrow and they really, really liked it.

The concept, I think, is very intriguing and the review says the movie does it best to make Cruise unlikable, which I thought was interesting.

It will be a movie I go see.

Thanks for this. My 10-year-old wants to see this one. We will probably take her next weekend.

Reacher was just OK, yes, but I actually thought Oblivion was quite good.

It looks like a futuristic, more violent version of "Groundhog Day."

Took a trip to Tromaville for "Class of Nuke 'Em High." Then "The Keep" with Scott Glenn and young original Magneto.

That was my thought, too. The idea of reliving the same day over and over again certainly isn't new.

Aside from a continuity error with a button early in the movie, Edge Of Tomorrow is a smart and even witty sci-fi movie. With two strong actors as leads, Edge Of Tomorrow is an intelligent film with enough humor to make it fun while also keeping you guessing. Experience it in the theater, you won't regret it. And the ending, well, man, I didn't quite see that coming.

The trailers convinced me that it was a reset of The Source Code, which I really liked, combined with Oblivion, which I also liked. Still, I can't make myself want to see it. Then again, I felt the same way about Oblivion before I saw it.

Oblivion was one of the first things showing after we got the Home B.O. turned back on. Not bad.

It wasn't as bad as I imagined. The secondary villain was really weak. Clarence Boddicker would have that guy for breakfast within 30 seconds of meeting him. Jackie Earle Haley was more menacing in his small part.

    The Art of the Steal
It's a heist/con movie that had me LOLing quite a few times. At one point, Kurt Russell briefly drives an AMC Pacer. Terrence Stamp has a nice role.
