Who said I wouldn't be posting on here?!?! 8)
You obviously don't know my family.

Nah, I'll be busy drinking seeing old friends and drinking catching up with everybody and buying drinks for my 17 y/o brother going out and drinking having fun ... maybe I'll even have a few drinks one night. But I'll probably drop by here once or twice when I get on whatever crappy-ass computer he's got at his house now.

Yo. Went out to go get a fucking haircut. Feel much better. Have a meeting with an employment agency in the morning. Figured a fucking haircut was the first step.

Good news: I don't think the toe is broken. It didn't swell too, too much.

Bad news: The toenail is hanging on by a thread. It's going to fall off any minute now.

I think ever'body's got a nasty moving injury story, HP. Mine involves lifting a washer and dryer from my truck to go up two flights of stairs to my old apartment, only I wasn't aware that my side of the washer had a metal edge underneath that steadily dug into the my hand as I carried it. Didn't even notice it until I set down the washer on the floor and noticed a drop of blood. Then I turned my hand over and it was gushing out.

Ended up with a gash in my palm about eight inches deep that didn't heal for weeks. Hard to type; could barely grip a pen for about two months, which, of course, is not exactly the best thing for this job. Think the scar's finally going away now, but that was a bitch of a wound.

I once moved on a 98-degree, high humidity day. I could have given Gary Williams a run for his money in a sweating contest.

Right after I had the truck empty and shut the hatch, it started raining. I walked around in that for 15 minutes. I'm sure everyone on the street thought I was an idiot.

    I was happy.

Oh, yeah, everyone's got stories. I just think it's odd that it's been two big toes in two summers in two moves. Weird. I've broken my collarbone, a thumb and several fingers from playing ball back in the day, but foot injuries piss me off the most, because you have to walk on them. I guess a hand injury now would be worse, though. You're right. I can't imagine not typing or writing things down. What a bitch that would be.

And I think it's pretty cool that your palm is eight inches deep. You must have huge hands. I keed, I keed.

Awesome. Did you sweat through your pants like Bruce Pearl?
