You know, Yanni, if Hillary's health coverageplan had been enacted, you might be able to afford the psychiatric care.

    Ironic, huh?

Were you a White House staffer during either administration, because otherwise you're blowing smoke.

And I never said Laura didn't have first amendment rights, you dope. Go back and read what I said. Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, if you can't even fucking read, why are you arguing with anyone?

I'll say it slowly so maybe you can understand.

She has the right to say it. Anybody has a right to say what they want. But with all freedoms, especially the freedom of speech, there's a price that has to be paid, and Laura's uninformed musings certainly deserve criticism if she's going to speak them, just as you'd be quick to jump on the wife of any prominent Democrat.

That is all. I'm done with you today.

    Never. Fucking. Happened.

LMAO....hell no. Never happened. Can you define "national healthcare policy?"

    End of subject.

What national healthcare policy? Was one put into place of which I was not aware?

Quit wasting your breath. Yawn has NO clue what freedom of speech involves. None.

I was at a social function last week. A guest was an Army Colonel who has served two tours in Iraq since 2003 and is headed back for a third. He said Baghdad and Tikrit are volatile, while the rest of the country is going through relative calm. He said those areas are getting all the publicity, but the good news coming from other areas are getting hardly any notice in the media.

I'll rely on the knowledge of someone who's been there twice.

Are you saying H.Clinton wouldn't be the first woman president?

Note: I didn't read the whole thread, this might have been asked. If so, disregard.

Two million people have fled the country.

All of them from Baghdad and Tikrit, I suppose.

Those 185 attacks per day are limited to Baghdad and Tikrit, I suppose.

I guess that means Fallujah and Mosul and the dozens of other hellholes are in "relative" calm (relative to Darfur, I guess).

I'll rely on ACTUAL FACTS instead of someone who cannot possibly be in a position to judge what is going on in a country that takes up 170,000 square miles.

That's like someone in Indiana telling me that things are "relatively calm" in Iowa. How would he know?

    ::) ::) ::)

    Hammer, meet nail.

hondo, while I have no doubt in my mind that you have casual conversations with commissioned officers at social functions all the time, I'm curious what your military source thinks of Afghanistan. Where, after five and a half years of engagement, we've effectively conquered and are holding roughly one square mile of ground.

The poppies are back in the fields and the burqas have been refitted.

    All relative calm indeed.
