Layoffs in San Antonio

    I don't know what the income level of people moving into San Antonio is. But a rapidly growing local market was usually a windfall for a publisher because of the real estate ads from the real estate developers and furniture stores selling to the newcomers.

    The city where I live is experiencing a growth spurt as well, but I haven't noticed an uptick in real estate advertising in the local daily.

    That's why I used the past tense. Real estate ads have largely disappeared and retailers are currently leaving in droves.

    Cut him some slack. SA alums are reading this thread, maybe they’re too shellshocked to even look at the jobs board yet.
