    Amaechi should have been so bold as to say "I'm Gay. Accept it or I'll file suit."

    But then, he knew the score in the NBA.

    So he did the smart thing for survival's sake, especially the survival of a journeyman who lived from season to season.

    When did you make a contribution? :)

    And I didn't make any assumptions about Amaechi's behavior. I went on what I know....that he is gay, but he was not open about it during his playing career. I don't know if he lied to people to cover it up or not. Where's the assumption?
