That is the only thing these people have to live on. They don't have any values so they have to push their agenda's on to other people to make themselves feel like they are doing something with their lives. They misconstrue Lebron's comments because they want to prove they are a better person but truth be told all that Lebron said is that if some one was Gay that he should not be afraid to speak up about because if they are then maybe they have other issues that make them untrustworthy. When you are on a team trust is huge and to break someones trust will ruin a good team.

Since when did progress get tied to any change? Take a house for example. The new owners come in and say "We don't like this wall. We'll take it out and change one room to two." Elementary logic here, kiddoes, so listen closely.

The wall comes down and the house collapses because it was a support wall!

Change in that case brings down the house. Same with society. Certain changes aren't for the overall good.

And sorry Fenian, you can't paste the wall up again.

Indians, you are a homophobe who should be jettisoned to outer space and away from this good earth.

    Not.

Yawn, You've got half a dozen posts just on this page and I am still having a hard time discerning your point. Can you narrow it down for me?

    Outside of bantering? OK.

Lebron's issue of trust had to do with team chemistry, from practice to the shower. And his discomfort with having a homosexual in his locker room? Absolutely.

And he's justified in the same way that sexual harrassment in the workplace is important to women.

I think I suggested that if liberals think Lebron has just go to get over it about showering with a homosexual, that we ought to unisex everything beyond bathrooms to change kids diapers.

Thanks for the summation. I have to take issue with your conclusion that Lebron James is justified in the same way that sexual harassment in the workplace is important to women. Perhaps there is a certain level of discomfort on Lebron's part, but I would point out that such discomfort could not be justified by facts.

First, it is rare that men are the victims of sexual harassment from other men (or women for that matter, but that is beside the point) in comparison to women who are victims of harassment. Second, I would think it is even rarer that men are the victims of sexual harassment from other men who self-identify as homosexual. Third, maybe a homosexual would have issues of "trust" about confiding in their teammates in the first place because some, as guys are wont to do, displayed homophobic attitudes before.

White people don't have to fight for equality -- because white is the majority and no one in this country is denying whites legal benefits and/or civil rights.

Straight people don't have to fight for equality -- because straight is the majority, and no one in this country is denying straight people legal benefits and/or civil rights.

THAT's why LeBron's sexual preference is not a "story." That's why it's his "business."

    Not just because he's straight.

Bullshit. It's not his business because this never-was is retired from the game. Let a current player come out. Then it's his business. This twit was just seeking attention. And people here were waiting to throw him a damn party.

I understand where you're coming from, given that example. But to say he's dishonest because he didn't announce his sexuality to the locker room is asinine, because others (see: heterosexual men) in that locker room might have failed to do the same.
