If you think this hasn't been a big deal until now, you have been living in a cave (which might be as bad as living in Cleveland) for the past six months.

Agreed. The league has been about individual stars for at least the last 30 years. But that's all the more reason for James to stay in Cleveland. He's already proven one can be a mega-star in Cleveland, or anywhere else. It's not like the guy is lacking in endorsements. He's somewhere in the top 5 of most recognizable athletes in America.

I just haven't seen an argument of any other option that makes more sense than Cleveland, his de facto hometown where he is already loved, adored and worshipped by millions.

And has a team surrounding him that is nowhere near enough to win a title with.

I realize the regular season is insignificant and all that, but . . .

How can a team that won 127 games the past two years be "nowhere near" winning a title in a sport where simply adding one key player can make all the difference in the world?

the whole where is Lebron going is tiresome. The Knicks have jettisoned the past 3 seasons to set themselves up to get him. I hope they don't it would serve them and the NBA right.

I wish I could remember the name of the financial guy I heard on ESPN a couple of days ago. He explained that going to New York would do very little for James financially. The real key for him, if he wants to make more money, is to win championships because that would open up more international opportunties for him, particularly in China.

The blue font is such a crutch these days.

As if a dude from Cleveland wouldn't understand that the "where is James going?!?!" story has bene everywhere for a long time.

    Excellent work, TSP.

No one should even need to know I'm in Cleveland to realize how facetious these posts are.
