Leitch leaves Deadspin for New York Magazine

Sorry, that "editorial we" isn't the same.

Here, on this blog, it's just another coward's cloak. ("I am not the libeler, it's we.")

 

So is every blog now going to spend their lives trying to ruin Leitch's? I mean, he did just turn his back on them, did he not?

 

No more mesh huggies, big boy pants from here on out.

 

In other news, the National Enquirer has reached a two-year deal with The Big Lead.

 

Since he started the site - Deadspin has had over 154 MILLION visits.

We say Leitch did a good job and We wish him well in his new endevours.

 

It's interesting to see people here finally going after Deadspin and Leitch.

 

This guy's caterwauling album had a single that went gold in Sweden.

We think the Swedes should stick to polska and eurotrance.

 

I didn't care for Deadspin, but I know others did. I wonder how long he'll last at New York and what they'll ask him to do.
On the whole, I find it an eminently skippable periodical.

 

We second the good wishes to Leitch.

While snarky, he seems like a decent guy. We would buy him a beer if we were in NYC or Mattoon.

 

It's just we being we.

 

NY was bad business, for a long time, but under the current regime, it's the best it's been since the early days, with Clay Felker. Agree that most of the intermediate management teams sucked rocks, but the current bunch is with it . . . and no, I don't work there.
