In my reality TV nirvana, it's Carrie Underwood, Syesha and Ami.

The Playboy was just a maraschino.

Is Rex tired after all that fucking?

Archuleta sucked. He still won't go home though. We're not that lucky.

It will either be the chick who butchered 8 Days a Week or the black girl who opened the show...

The Rocker guy is the best by far... I'm predicting the 13-year-olds vote him out in the semis like they did with Chris Daughtry.

Watching right now. Syesha darn near turned that into a disco song, and her vocal tweaks were ordinary. Didn't work for me.

Jacuzzi's opening to the song made me fear for his future on the show, but he kept getting better and better; he did what he had to, considering the Beatles don't exactly fit his vocal skill sets. This should keep him alive.

    Ryan, meanwhile, jumps the shark.

In My Life is my favorite song of all time. I want to strangle her for what Ramiele's doing to it. You don't turn that into a Lite-FM tune. And her big-voice effort at the end shows she doesn't have the big-voice chops. She and Syesha are on the bubble so far.

Castro is surely keeping Duncan Hines afloat.

Great song choice. Decent execution, at least at first. A kinda uneven middle, then a decent ending. Definitely staying, but he definitely didn't progress.

She's the other one who should be in the bottom 3. The country chick at the end, Syesha and her.

I just noticed that Carly is a bit zaftig. Nothing wrong with that. Nice skirt, but the shirt is too big for it. Showed off her considerable chops, tho it didn't feel like a stellar reinterpretation. She's safe as hell.

David Cook again scores with a grunge reinterpretation, tho the flourish at the end detracted a bit. I still am nervous about his chances if a week comes up where he can't grunge it. But he could be the runner-up, a la Blake.
