Let me christen the first "American Idol" 2008 thread

He's not an unattractive man. And he definitely wasn't the worst this week. He was better than Kristy and Amanda Overmyer, at least.

Who? There's no one else in this show is even two steps above mediocre. I think the Australian is OK, but definitely not crushworthy.

 

No he wasn't, Doc. Kristy didn't forget lyrics or stumble. She just had the song at much too fast a tempo.

 

There has to be a ballplayer someplace that looks like this kid.

No, IJAG doesn't like athletes that much. And she certainly doesn't like sports.

She will, however, now focus her crush attention on Jason Taylor for as long as he lasts on Dancing with the Stars

 

just agirl, i'm talking about the castro kid. I don't think he's a great singer either, but my wife thinks his eyes are just wow.

I think the top 5 right now are the Nanny, Carly Smithson, the young kid, the Australian and Janis Wannabe. Although that Chickenzee guy had a really good night last night.

I feel bad for IJAG, but given that this gives me another week of looking at KLC, I can live with it.

 

Hey, anyone know if the Boston College basketball singer ever did anything except return to basketball?

 

Castro may be my least favorite person on this show. He sounds like a stoner, his hair bothers me, his voice has no strength whatsoever, and he just looks weird when he sings.

 

I know this is a repeat, but hopefully this'll cheer ya up
