Saw the finale on tape. Didn't like the movie promo. Girls production number was distracting with them all wearing different stuff (and what's with Carly and the black stockings all night? Tats? Hairy legs?) was distracting. Summer and Adams were OK. George Michael actually looked and sounded pretty good. Pips thing was funny but dragged on too long. Cook kicked ass with Top. Archuleta did aight on his bit. Carly and Michael Johns were awesome together; they should have made the final four in a just world. Jacuzzi sounded better than he ever did in the competition. The judges had to have been tipped of the blowout, given the cornerback-style backpedaling. I didn't mind Simon's apology. Justice prevailed, Cook was a gracious winner, and he did a fine job on the finale song. End of my rambling, for now.
