This thing has reached 153 pages? Not too shabby. How does this compare to previous seasons' AI threads? I don't remember having one sustained thread on a TV season go this long.

I think we've got the makings of someone who will blow away Daughtry's earnings.

 

I agree with all that, but how can the sob story be a push? Having a stage dad is bad, I'm sure, but Cook's brother is dying. One of those two situations should get better over time. The other won't.
