Let me christen the first "American Idol" 2008 thread

KLC's song was craptastic.

And I liked David Cook, despite it being a rock version of my favorite Beatles song.

 

Brooke's Let It Be is pretty ... she has a smooth, strong voice.

 

Archeleta goes home. Just a prediction on a crazy night.

I think my reality fantasy now is to have one night with Amanda from AI and Ami from Survivor. I'd be a punker in my 40s. Which would make me look like, um, Mick Jagger, who is considerably older but I look older than I am, so what the fuck. Or I'd have a sex change just to satisfy Ami.

Kristy Lee Cook is just a girl next door fantasy too. Damn, you all know where my head is tonight.

 

I haven't seen him yet, but I'm giddy as a schoolgirl waiting to see the boy implode.

Hernandez was awful. David Archuleta was awful, but everyone's in love with him so he'll be back.

 

I can't stand the trucker chick. I think she's trying to channel Elvis with her movements but her hair isn't the only mark of fail.

I can't even make out what she's saying. Good grief, take the marbles out of your goddamn mouth.

So I called a couple hundred times, and rely on Kristy Lee Cook just sucking THAT BADLY.

 

Which one's the trucker chick? You talking about Amanda Overmyer (sp)?

If so, I agree.

My tentative Final Four: Chakezie (sp), Archuleta, Irish Chick, the Brooke chick.

 

If I could vote, I would vote. And I haven't seen Cook yet.
