    I'm so sorry. So young. So much (apparent) hurt in her life. So sad. Your tribute was special. Thanks for sharing.

    I was on a train a couple weeks back when an 18-year-old jumped in front of it. All you heard was a loud thump. An undignified end to such a young life. I didn't see anything as I was in the back cars and it was getting dark out. I did some Googling and it turns out they were transitioning to male and had just graduated from high school. My heart broke for the kid who decided they hurt so much they needed to end it all. My heart broke for their family. My heart broke for the engineers and crew who witnessed it. Sigh.
