No it was jalapeño or habanero sauces (with the assortment of Tabasco and Tabasco knockoffs). Ghost pepper didn’t arrive until closer to 2010 or later.

Without much research -- it'd be Denver.

An out-of-work geologist and three others opened a brewery in downtown Denver among abandoned buildings and warehouses and what was known as Skid Row. Downtown Denver was a disaster in the late 1980s.

Eventually, Coors Field was built. Local breweries opened by the dozens and now they are like dispensaries -- one on every corner. Downtown became LoDo -- a vibrant place to work and live, until the past four or five years.

That out-of-work geologist? Went on to become mayor. Then governor. Then U.S. senator.

These two things are true. I've been going to Nashville for more than 45 years and never heard of hot chicken until the last 15 or so. Still haven't had it yet. And white sauce is still a mystery to some people even in Alabama, not to mention the rest of the Southeast.

Until the last few years I didn't know that mutton was a thing in southwest Kentucky. Maybe when you get through fucking the sheep, you eat them?

That’s a lot of mustard but that’s lame they charge.

Now I kind of miss the Hofbrauhaus in Vegas.

I love that stuff, especially the green variety. The first time I encountered it was in Antigua Guatemala at a Pollo Loco restaurant. Aside from the heat, it has a smoky character that is distinctive.

Soliciting help, and this is as good a place as any.

What is a dead-simple instant pot recipe you can recommend to a first-time user? I mean extremely uncomplicated. I just need something to make me get started and hopefully build up my confidence to try more.
