Haven't been to this place in years but it was always a good spot to stop in my days on the road in junior hockey:

You pretty much can’t go wrong with any restaurant in those three blocks of King Street between City Hall and the river. Il Porto is good, though I prefer Mia’s (https://www.miasitalian.com/alexandria-va/alexandria-menus) for Italian food.

O’Connell’s (https://www.danieloconnells.com/view-our-current-menus/) is a good Irish place — the Guinness burger is fantastic.

Mai Thai (Our Menu Mixed – Mai Thai Old Town VA) is right on the river and the food and custom cocktails are excellent.

Also, Barca (https://www.barcaalx.com/view-our-menu#pier) is a few blocks off of King Street and is, literally, right on the water:

I think I would put Mia's out of business with that Bottomless Brunch option.

Haven't been there, but stopped in to Crafty Cow (https://www.craftycowwi.com/milwaukee-menus/) back on Don Majkowski Day (7-7-17) and always try to get back there when I'm in town. They have grown quite a bit since I was 1st there.

Bob's Grill - Outer Banks, NC - slogan is "Eat And Get The Hell Out"

Last time I was there, the pancakes were the size of a catcher's mitt.
