Ok, before we got going on this AGAIN (I blame BYH for starting), can we please not have another threadjack on this big market vs. small market crap? We've done it to death and nobody ever seems to budge anyway.

Better topic: What combination of has-beens and never weres will the Pirates use to fill out their roster this year?

My votes are for Mark Grudzeilanek (SP?) if he's available and Nomar.

I'm pretty sure the Royales with Cheese signed Mark G. to an extension or were negotiating one.

Nomar will not sign with Pittsburgh.

I heard the Cubs are interested in Sheffield. Maybe they will trade Prior for him.

Don't blame me. I voted for Kodos.

I mean, don't blame me. Columbo started it with his usual "Wahhhhhhhh the Yankees can go out and replace a guy for $15 million" bull.

Ryan Klesko. Or they'll just acquire Randall Simon for the 12,784th time.

Ok, fair enough. Actually, though I am closer to his side in the overall issue, I don't buy it with the Twins. Their revenue sucks, but at least the owner has the deep pockets if he wasn't so locked in on taking it all with him to the grave.

yeah but if I said that Columbo would have suffered a stroke yelling about how the Yankees had a dynasty from 1996-2000 because they bought up everyone good. Except, of course, they haven't won dick since they started buying up everyone good.
