Seems to me the Twins and Yankees both won division titles this past season.
Seems to me the Yankees got pasted by the wild card Tigers in the ALDS.
Yup, the Yankees had a HUGE advantage this season.

    Are you a four-year-old....?

The Yankees have a huge advantage every season.

I'm waiting for spnited to get those next 453 posts, so we can have a category added for next year's awards.

If the Yanks advantage is that massive, why haven't they won a title during the Bush Administration?

Yeah but it'll be a helluva race if you rack up 4,112 posts in the next 12 months.

When was the last time they were bad? How long is that streak of playoff appearances now?

The money isn't everything, but if you are going to deny that it is an advantage, you really need to get your head out of the sand.

It's an advantage making it to the playoffs. In a short series, as they say, anything can happen.

And those in the cleveland ticket office wonder why the Indians-Tigers series just sold out in four seconds flat.

And it looks like Luke Scott to the Orioles and then the Tigers could still happen.

A week after nearly dealing him to the Orioles, looks like the Braves are going to dump Marcus Giles by non-tendering him.

A bunch more free agents tomorrow thanks to non-tenderings ...
