There is just no rhythm in that kind of set, Celtics did it a million times last year and always frustrating to watch. I think you always move the ball and try to get something in the flow of a play rather than standing and chucking.

It's a product of how The Knicks played when they got Carmelo. With Felton at point they were moving the ball around with good spacing. Felton did a good job except Lin has a better outside shot and a quicker first step.

Lin is fast becoming the real life basketball version of Roy Hobbs.

Lin is becoming the basketball version of Kurt Warner.

Of course if Lin were white or black, who'd care?

Magic offers Dwight Howard for Jeremy Lin and Tyson Chandler. Knicks say no?

Maybe, because then they're back to not having a decent point guard.

What so many fail to remember is that Fidrych flamed out because of a torn rotator cuff that was not diagnosed until 1985. When he was healthy, he was the real thing.

Why would that bother or affect you?

Given their owner, they say "yes" in a second, even though it probably wouldn't help the team.

Would Howard be signed for ever and ever? If so, then yes, but you would killed in the papers, and by the fans, for doing it.

Great quote from Lin in Vaccaro column that sums it up:

"“I love playing on a team that wants to be a team,” Lin would say. “That’s why we’re having fun.’’

Fans also love watching a team that plays like a team.

Some of my favorite teams to watch over the years:

Jack Curran: Archbishop Malloy (even with Kenny Anderson)

    Pete Carril: Princeton

    Lawrence Frank: NJ Nets

All these teams played as teams. They played unselfishly. They moved the ball. Players moved without the ball. They ran plays, and ended up getting a lot of uncontested layups and alleyoops because of their movement.

    Such fun teams to watch.
