If Jim Morris hadn't played for the Yankees, there's no way Disney makes a movie out of his story.

I certainly think this is a very legitimate story.

I also wonder how much attention this would be getting if he was doing it in Oklahoma City or Sacramento.

John Drew was a very good player.

I'm not saying that this Lin story isn't a good story. Of course it is, but the attention he's getting eventually will be his downfall because he won't be able to keep up this pace. In a few weeks, we could all be asking, "What happened to Jeremy Lin?"

And yes, I do think Barea's story is better at this point. He's a guy that came out of Northeastern, went undrafted, played in the D League and worked his way into a $19 million contract. Of course his story has a few more chapters, and I'm not saying that Lin won't play his way into a big contract. But as mentioned before, it's been six games.

How much attention does Tim Tebow get playing in Denver?

Most Lin articles for the past 10 days have probably replaced a "where is Dwight Howard going to end up?" article or some other hot-stove league bullshit.

Ichiro did OK in Seattle and Kurt Warner got some notice in St. Louis, too.

Should the knicks retire Jeremy Lin's number?

Not always. In our case, it replaced our NHL roundup. ;D
