Seems like Carmelo can' play without the ball which he will need to do with Lin running the O

    Well, yeah.

    2 + 2 = 4.

But it's better to celebrate what he has done, instead of pointing fingers at talent scouts who allowed old attitudes to affect their viewpoints..

It's a fun little story for a while -- Ivy League, D League, sleeping on the couch, Asian, etc.

But he's a third string point guard who sees the court well and is at best slightly below average in all other aspects of the game.

He's made the most of his chances, but he's lucky enough to play on a team with the worst guards in the NBA.

I don't understand why anybody gave a crap about Mark Fidrych. It's not like he was as good as Tom Seaver, so what was the point of getting excited?

What really impressed me was how quick he was off the dribble in beating his defender. He may not have his shot some nights but he will have the quickness to penetrate and dish which will still make him effective.

Really does seem like the scouts dropped the ball on this one to the Knicks gain.

This has to be a conspiracy orchestrated by David Stern.

A 6-3 point guard thriving in a Dantoni offense. An unheard of story!

Was it his brother's couch? I could have sworn it was Landry Fields'. Atleast that's what I kept hearing mentioned on TV.

Anyway, love what Lin's doing right now. The kid has a legit skill set. He's quick, he can control the ball while drawing contact, he's a sound passer, he makes quick decisions. He's perfect for that system.

If nothing else, Lin is a welcome relief from all those eurostiffs.

and those hard luck cases from the projects raised by their single mom and 24 brothers and sisters while their dad is in jail or drug and robbery charges.

It's been his brother's couch all but one night, when his brother had guests so Jeremy crashed at Landry's. (His brother goes to NYU.). (And I know too much meaningless detail.)
