Hindsight, but the only real way to avoid junk like that is to never count on anyone but yourself. Take the call at home, or use your cell. Too many things get messed up when you involve other people.

Just wondering why you're so sure you can't get the player back...you got it once, is there any chance you can pound on the door again? You're not the first guy to miss connections with an interview. Good luck.
