I am beyond psyched for tomorrow night. I've got a Brie that I've stuffed with pecans and which is soaking in Brandy to be baked tomorrow night and served with a baguette! It's a select group - just me and JR - but never doubt that this is a party!

Thank God this is a long weekend! :)

Good call HC! Think I'll treat myself to a steak and some nice wine for the event.

I don't drink but if I can, I'm going to have a six pack of Dharma Beer and about three Apollo Bars. :)

I can't believe that I can't watch Sunday night. We RSVPed to a black tie event months ago before the moved the finale. Mrs. W let me know in no uncertain terms that we are attending.

We're probably getting home at 2 in the morning and I have to leave for work on Monday by no later than 7. The only question is whether I pull an all nighter to watch or try to stay web and e-mail unspoiled.

People speculated that Aaron and Ji Yeon could be candidates. I think that could still be true. Jack could tab them in a few years down the road. No clue if the finale will go that far though.

I don't know how you're going to be able to remain unspoiled on this one. I'd be scared I'd walk past a TV or overhear something on the radio or between people on the street.

Steak is the main course chez HC. :)

Hoping the finale is not like tonite's pilot rebroadcast: 10 minutes of show, a seemingly 10 minute of commercials, 10 minutes of show, a seemingly 10 minutes of commercials...

Glad I gave it a miss then. Especially since I have all available seasons on DVD thanks to JR's boys! :)

Okay: I timed this last sequence.

    Lost pilot: Eight minutes (9:09-9:17)
    Commercials: Six minutes (9:17-9:23)

I read that LOST will have 100 minutes of TV time. So that's 40 minutes of commercials.

By the way, the pilot re-air went 21 minutes before a commercial. And 12 before it's next commercial. For some reason I paid attention to this.

There's a lot of details about the show I can't remember, but I remember watching the pilot episode in '04 and how long the first plane crash scene took. I remember thinking that it felt like a movie, and it was almost surprising that a commercial came on.

Some funny stuff I noticed about watching the pilot tonight. Sawyer's hair looks shorter and his sideburns look longer, and Sayid's accent isn't as strong.
