I'm going to have to come back here tomorrow. I can't think right now.

But I get it. And it was great. I just... my head is fucked up.

There were previous thoughts that life is lived in layers. One layer moves on to another layer. I guess they are all together to move onto the next layer of life?

When people land on the island, they all die during the crash?

And it seemed like Jack wanted to pet him but didn't want to get blood all over his fur, which I appreciated.

    And that's well put, Rhody.

They didn't die in the crash. They lived their regular lives. They just chose to get together after death (even though they all died at different times, they moved on together, because it's the afterlife so they can make time mean whatever they want it to mean).

mustardwife was wondering why Faraday wasn't in the church. And why Desmond said he wasn't taking him with him. I didn't have an answer.

    Help?

My wife is bitching that there were not enough answers (Dharma, polar bears, yada yada yada).

The all-purpose answer to everything is "Jacob got to make the rules and Jacob was a weird guy."

So do they release the basic series DVD set in a month or so and then release the super deluxe version with the answers to all our questions right before Christmas?

    Oh. My. God.

I ... I ... I just don't know where to begin with this right now.

I can't even begin to process what I just witnessed.

OK, I've got to ask. What was with the numbers?

    :)

    Sorry, I need a moment...

I watched the first two seasons and just watched the series finale out of curiosity. Please forgive me, I don't understand. For instance, when Sun and Jin saw their child together (and were alive!), what the hell happened? I thought they died?? I'm using them as an example for most things I just witnessed.

For the same reason Frank, Miles, Richard and Charlotte were not there: they came in the middle, when it was about survival. These people had already made a connection, and were happiest together. Libby gets to come because she's Hurley's person, and the same with Penny/Desmond and Sawyer/Juliet. I would imagine Daniel and Charlotte find their own happy place.

    Jin and Sun died.

Jin and Sun lived a fake life in the alternate universe, Sixth Sense style.

Jin and Sun, upon seeing their daughter in the alternative universe, suddenly remembered everything and realized they were dead and ready to "move on" but they wanted to do it together with all the other Lost people, because they were so important to each others' lives.
