All I can say right now, schieza, is to repeat that this isn't my first nerd rodeo. I think a lot of dudes have become way too conditioned to seek meaning in every single thing Lost throws at us, when in actuality some things are just there because the creators are having fun.

I've given my logical explanation for the Numbers from a storytelling perspective. Others have bent over backwards to attempt to fit them into the narrative. If anyone, even at this late date, wants to continue focusing on something like "The NUMBERS!!!" to a point that it affects their perception of the show, I hope they have fun with that.

Me, I'm satisfied with the answers I have at this point, and with the answers I (and friends I discuss the show with) have been able to discern from various clues within the show. That's not because I always prefer to not have concrete explanations from a show (though I can certainly deal with it), but rather because I know these particular "answers" are not forthcoming. So why get pissed because they didn't answer MY particular mystery?

It's fun to read through the old threads and see dudes freaking out way back in Season Three that "We're not getting enough ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!"

Back then, I apparently was very vocal about not trying to figure the show out because it was going in so many directions. I guess I changed my mind when they started fashioning an endgame . . . .

Anyway, check out this theory. Note the date.

    And this one:

Man that evil Locke twin is a pretty freeking cool idea.

The mother was not expecting twins, right?

I have a feeling there is a missing puzzle piece (like the Locke one above) that they are going to give us that is going to really open this show up.

Still a week away (sigh), but there's a pretty epic fan-made trailer for the final episode on YouTube:

That was excellent, although, as some of the comments pointed out, there weren't any clips of Ben, Juliet or Desmond.

Guys, this might be the best work I've read from Doc Jensen. The meaning of redemption and how it ties into Jacob.

And here's the preview and Totally LOST for tonight's episode. I'm about to delve in.

Mark Pellegrino and Titus Welliver are heavily featured. Funny and insightful.

Sets up the rest of the series nicely.

Absolutely loved it. All that speculation about the candidate to replace Jacob being the end of the show, and they give it to us early, leaving me with no idea where they are planning to go with this thing in the final episode.

    Can't add much to that.

    A truly incredible episode.

Best of the season. Better than Happily Ever After and Ab Aeterno.

So the concert they are headed to, Daniel Faraday, right? Penny will be there as well as most everyone else.
    Interesting.

    Great episode.

I think drinking the water gave Jack an epiphany about the history of the island.

It was just chalk, Kate - line of the night.

I think a poster noted years ago about how flawed each of the Losties were/are. :)
