I stumbled across a great Lost site & I apologize if it's been shared here before.

I too made the mistake of reading a little too much in the Spoiler section, but I'm not that disappointed. I CANNOT wait to see next week, let alone next season.

I love watching the show but not to try to figure it out just to enjoy it. I'm not saying I don't try to figure it out but I've just decided it's pointless to try to outthink it. I can't wait until Wednesday ... gonna be great.

What if the big game changer is that some or all of them get off the island?
And unless Walt and dad are still at sea, they never actually left or Ben blew up the boat. They should have made it to land, unless of course Naomi is lying.

Anyone watch tonight's special? Was it worth checking out?

I thought the special was good - cleared up a lot of stuff, like "Smoky" and the big tree shaking monster are one and the same, a magnetic force was keeping the island "secret" and the disruption when the one pod imploded last season sent out a signal to Penelope's crew/
a few other little things that the producers said helped too, character motivations etc. I didn't see any time spent on the Michelle Rodriguez chapter, or any of the "tailies" for that matter. Very little about Walt or The Big Foot.

Did anyone notice that when young Charlie was jumping into his father's arms that you heard someone calling for Desmond in the background? Tivo confirmed that.

Did someone tip off the people in the underwater hatch that Charlie was coming? I think the black/white couple has a mole in it, and I think it's the guy. Why give him such a major part (giving him a rifle) out of the blue? And he is good with it - like the Others.

Maybe you missed the part where Charlie was screaming, 'I'm alive!!'to the top of his lungs... Eh whatever, let Rosie's hubby have a part in this. He was around a bit in Season 2 so why not. Maybe he's good with it because maybe he shot game back home. Something was mentioned about shooting pheasants. My guess he's one of them that gets killed off in the finale.

    So...

All of the bad guys are dead. But now there's something worse on the way. Any ideas?

And who died? Must not be Sawyer, because she says that she needs to get back to "him." Jack said it wasn't a friend or a relative. I was thinking it was Ben. After all, he wouldn't have any friends or relatives. Everyone he knew was just killed.

Of course, there's also the diver fella with one eye. If he survived, then there are two left from the Others, plus the daughter and her boyfriend.

So, we still have the mystery of the black smoke. Are we to believe that it is the real enemy and that the girl who arrived by parachute is somehow tied to the smoke? We still have a lot of mysteries. Among them is how the people on the island gathered intelligence on people and whether they still have that connection to the outside world. The thinking has been that all of their technology was wiped out when the hatch exploded. Also, I'm interested in why people keep popping up in flashbacks and whether these folks were selected to crash.

No, there are still more Others. Never-aging Richard, for example, and the other Others still back at their tents.

As for Smokey, I think it is tied to Jacob. When Locke touched that dirt/crystals before entering Jacob's shack, I wondered if it wasn't the smoke monster in a resting/non-active form.

And don't forget the stewardess/Other. Or all the kids, if you remember the scene from when she took them on a tour of the cages when Sawyer and Kate were trapped.
Lots of Others still floating around.
Gotta be honest, going to give up, trying to figure out what the crap is going on and just sit back and enjoy the ride. Even though I will read ew.com's recap when it gets posted today.
