I love that Don was sitting in the lobby reading a copy of "The Ape," which was apparently a real promotional "newspaper" distributed in theaters carrying the "Planet of the Apes" films.

I saw this elsewhere, but who goes to the movies all the time ... Don. That line might have hit home a little too hard.

Unless you're Peggy ... she goes to the movies to give out handies.

I was just happy to see Bobby Draper was so concerned about the well being of Henry, the camel that was part of Chris Bosh's ill-fated birthday party.

"Go home, Don Draper. You are sober."

Does he? Bobby, maybe in that moment, but he hasn't shown any kind of affection toward the other two.

I thought Bobby's bringing up of Henry took the love out of him, but who knows. He's definitely a sad, lonely dude.

The other funny moment I noticed was when Joan was apologizing to Don's secretary for MLK's death, then gave her a really awkward hug. This, of course, comes right after she nearly got fired and got punished by doing payroll by Joan.

Thought same thing when heard, what was it, American Airlines spot with his voiceover? Even if you aren't quite in full-blown dislike of recent Don Draper, his character always has embodied insincere audience manipulation (pulling curtain back on advertising for us).

Don't hear what he's saying now. Just hear that he's "selling."

Slattery is a better voiceover guy. He makes me want to buy a Lincoln and I'm neither a senior citizen nor a funeral home director.

Hiring Jon Hamm for a job in which you don't see Jon Hamm seems like missing the point a bit.

Was that the most plot-heavy episode in Mad Men history?

I liked a lot of it but immensely disliked the obviousness and speed of the Ted-Peggy kiss and even more disliked her fantasizing Abe as Ted.
