about as much foreshadowing as: "Next Week on Mad Men", random pictures of characters saying random words?

    Don Draper > Christian Grey.

Agreed. I wasn't very crazy about it, although I did get a good laugh out of the exacto-knife throwing contest.

That was one of my favorite Mad Men episodes ever. I'd have to rewatch to be sure, but I would think it ranks among my five favorites.

Exceedingly odd that I laughed more at this week's episode of Mad Men than I did at this week's episode of Big Bang Theory. Once again, it feels like the world is unraveling on Don Draper.

The whole black "Granny" prowler stuff was just odd, odder than the drug tripping.
Ken's tap dance was outstanding, though. Nice work, Steak.

It was, but the point is that we don't know enough about Don's past as viewers to be sure she wasn't an old acquaintance. His children know even less about him.

Alan Sepinwall: "Sometimes with a TV drama — this one included — that can be a marvelous feeling to have at the close of the hour. Sometimes, though, it's just a signal that the episode didn't land the way it was meant to."

Todd VanDerWerff: "I’ve talked to more than a few people who thought “The Crash” was pretentious, self-indulgent, and ultimately lacking in meaning, Matt Weiner’s ultimate bird flip to audience expectations. And I can’t really say anything to those criticisms, because maybe?"

The whole story thread just to get to Sally telling Don that, "we don't really know you"

I was much more surprised/troubled that Betty lost 30 pounds and went blonde again with no explanation.
