Should she be more worried about the Mansons or Roman Polanski?

Did I ever tell you about the first time your weird hippy uncle Pete smoked pot? Yeah, believe it or not he used to be a real uptight, buttoned-down Madison Avenue type...

How bizarre was it to see Don, in his suit, sitting and smoking hash with a group of hippies?

But it was a khaki jacket, totally casual. ;)

My first thought when the Carnation guys was complaining about dealing with people in New York was that the solution to the growing tension between the two sides of SCDPCGC merger would be to send one group to LA to start a West Coast branch. California has been good to Don for the most part and his wife is an actress, maybe he should volunteer to go.

I was waiting for Joe Friday and Bill Gannon to knock on the door.

I knew I'd seen some of Danny's work before. And he really knew that the best place to find actors was in the grocery store parking lot.

    Pete Campbell gets high.

Now I know my youth was not in vain.

"What does the C stand for."
Harry Hamlin -- "It sure as hell not Campbell."

    No wonder he started toking.

There is something funny about these great ad guys struggling so hard to name their own company.
