Sally, these are not the droids you are looking for.

As desperate and weak as that was, what the hell is the alternative? That was freqposter's nightmare scenario.

I really hope there is more to Bob's story than him just being gay. At least we know Ginsberg's gaydar was working properly ...

If Don knew his kids at all he'd realize that what Sally really wants is to be treated like an adult and acting like she's a 5-year-old and telling her she didn't see what she thought she saw was the worst way to approach it. It was going to be a bad, tough, awkward situation no matter what, but being honest with her, explaining he's a flawed man who makes many mistakes, could have worked a lot better for him. She would have appreciated that on some level.

Now Don (along with her step-grandmother and Roger) is doing to Sally what the adults in his life did to him as a kid. The circle of kids being exposed to the adults messed-up sex lives and growing up to be miserable adults with an unhealthy view of love and sex.

But Don was only "comforting" her.

Weird ... my instinctive reaction was that Bob was talking about himself and Joan and that touching Pete's leg was accidental. I must be slow. :)

That kid Draper is saving from Vietnam is going to get his hands all over Sally.

    DO NOT BE MORE SPECIFIC!

    Poor Pete...

One week everybody hates Pete. The next it's "poor Pete." Back and forth every season. Has there ever been another character like that?

The way he softened up when he and Peggy were out with Teddy Chaough, it's moments like that where people remember they actually kind of like him.

It was enthralling, perhaps, but jaw-dropping implies surprise. Nothing was surprising, to the credit of the writers. Sally always was going to find out about her father's infidelity in some horrible way. Bob Benson's gayness was foreshadowed heavily.

Wayne Arnold. Admittedly, I almost never empathized with either because they were so shitty.
